Canoeing on the River Dee in Llangollen

The River Dee runs through Llangollen and offers canoeing for all levels of expertise. There is a local canoeing centre just outside Llangollen that offers excellent value for money on a wide range of courses and activites.

Most canoeing sessions last about two hours but the memories last forever. The centre can run sessions of any length, please let us know your requirements when booking.

After a safety briefing from their qualified instructors, beginners can start straight away on either one their our sit-on-top kayaks or standard Kayaks, in a safe still water environment before being introduced to the White Water.

More experienced paddlers can have their session tailored to their skill level and individual requirements.

The Centre offers a range of kayak and canoe courses, including Swift Water Technician course, Slalom Canoeing, Playboat and Freestyle coaching, as well as British Canoe Union training and qualification courses.
